As a Consultant Partner, you have provided an agreed schedule of hours per week which are dedicated for Converge use.
The total number of hours (in slots of 1 hr) you have agreed to provide to Converge are remunerated regardless if an appointment is scheduled or not, except where you have submitted an availability block which is not compensated for.
What you are remunerated for
You are remunerated for each individual appointment slot (each block = 1hr) that is in your Partner schedule
You are remunerated for:
-
Available appointment slots that are not utilised (no booking has occurred)
-
Available appointment slots that have an appointment scheduled
-
Cancellations - if a customer cancels and appointment you are still remunerated for that 1 x 1hr slot, however you are not compensated twice if another customer books into that slot
For example, if you have a Partner schedule with 10am, 11am and 1pm on Tuesdays, and 9am, 10am and 11am on Fridays, you are remunerated for total of 6 x 1 hr slots for that week. If there are 4 Tuesdays and 4 Fridays that month you are remunerated a total of 24 x 1 hr slots.
What you are not remunerated for
-
If you block your availability temporarily (for example if you are unwell or not available) you are not remunerated for the total amount of slots that are blocked for each day
-
Public Holidays (national and local, state, territory and regional) are automatically blocked
-
Additional, unauthorised appointments
-
If you have a scheduled appointment and do not mark it as completed within 7 days of it occurring you will not be remunerated for that hour slot (you will receive a negative x 1 hr in your end of month Consultant Partner calculation).
-
You are not remunerated twice if a late cancellation occurs and another booking is made into that 1 hr appointment slot
-
If you perform other streams of work for Converge outside of EAP work (such as Rapid Response or Onsite) you are not compensated twice for any overlapping hours.
How your Partner payment is calculated
You are remunerated on a monthly basis with an invoice (RCTI) generated on your behalf by Converge. As defined above, at the end of the month the total amount of available hours from your Partner schedule is calculated, minus any availability during your Partner hours that were blocked. As some months have more days than others, this amount will vary each month.
For example: Your partner hours were 10am, 11am and 1pm on Tuesdays (3 hours), and 9am, 10am and 11am on Fridays (3 hours). In the month of September, there are 5 Tuesdays and 4 Fridays, so you would have a total of 3x5 for Tuesdays = 15 hour slots + 4x3 for Fridays = 12 hour slots with the total for September being 27 hour slots.
If you blocked your availability on one of the Fridays, you would -3 from the total of 27 hours to total =24 hour slots.
Ad hoc schedules and bookings
You may also have an ad hoc schedule in addition to your Partner schedule, The ad hoc schedule may attract a different rate to your Partner schedule.
-
Referrals for your ad hoc schedule are initiated by Converge Customer Service (CS) team or Consultant Sourcing team only.
-
You cannot self refer into your ad hoc schedule, however you can rebook customers who were originally booked by CS or Consultant Sourcing teams into your ad hoc schedule
-
You cannot move a customer from Open schedule booking to an ad hoc schedule booking as this is considered a self-referral which is not permitted
Ad hoc scheduled bookings are calculated separately to your Consultant Partner schedule hours end of month calculation and are in addition to your calculated Consultant Partner hours.
